Online service allows hospitals to play role in Rx compliance

FreeRxReminder.com has launched the Institutional Reminder Service to help hospitals, pharmacies, health clinics, and insurance companies play a proactive role in patient medication adherence. FreeRxReminder.com is a free online service that sends text or e-mail messages alerting patients to take their medications. The Institutional Reminder Service is a small widget that is placed on the medical service provider's Web site. By clicking on the widget, the patient is immediately taken through the FreeRxReminder platform. An html code for the icon can also be privately tagged for out-going messages to let patients know that the message to take their medication was provided from the specific medical service provider.
