Health communications firm adds contextual ad opps for clients

Dowden Health Media, which develops online communications for pharma and other healthcare clients, is offering editorially relevant advertising to its clients, it reports. Marketers will be able to place ads right next to online editorial content that is relevant to their brand. The ads will link to a microsite containing up to 30 pages of content. Clients who sign up for the service will be able to create lead generation forms directly on the site and will have access to real-time reporting, which will provide information about activity levels on their microsites and compare their performance to others in their sector. According to the company, this kind of contextual targeting will allow advertisers to reach their audience with brand messages when they are most likely to act on them. One of Dowden Health Media's Web sites is the Emerging Science of Lipid Management, which is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Pfizer.
